SIMI TECHNOLOGIES LTD — PRIVACY NOTICE
Effective date: 30 September 2026.
Simi Technologies Ltd, registered number 14339, of Level 3, Innovation One, Dubai International Financial Centre ("Simi", "we") builds work simulations. This notice says what personal data we collect, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written under the Data Protection Law, DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020.
1 · Who This Covers
Anyone who visits our website, takes a Simi simulation, contacts us, or works with us. If your employer or university enrolled you, they decide why you were enrolled and we act on their instructions; this notice still tells you how we handle your data.
2 · What We Collect
You give us: your name, email address, country, your role and level, and your account credentials. If you buy, our payment processor takes your payment details — we never see your full card number.
The simulation records: what you write and say inside it, the decisions you take, what you open, and how long you take. From those we generate an assessment of your skills, a feedback report and learning recommendations.
Your device gives us: internet address, browser and device type, pages visited, and security and error logs.
We do not collect health, biometric, genetic, racial, religious, political or criminal-record data, and our simulations are built not to ask for them. Simi is for adults; you must be 18 or older.
3 · What We Do With It
- Run the simulation and produce your feedback.
- Keep your account and answer your questions.
- Improve the product and the accuracy of the assessment.
- Meet our legal, accounting and regulatory duties.
- Where you asked for it, or where you are a business contact, send you information about Simi. You can stop that at any time in one click.
4 · Artificial Intelligence, And What It Does Not Do
Your simulation is populated by artificial-intelligence characters, and your work is assessed by an artificial-intelligence assessor. We tell you this inside the product too.
Your feedback is formative — it is written to help you improve. No decision with legal or similarly significant effect is taken about you solely by automation. Where an employer receives a conclusion about you, a person reviews it first. You may ask us for a human review of anything the system produced about you.
6 · Where Your Data Goes
Simi is in the Dubai International Financial Centre. Our providers process data outside the Centre, including in the United States and the European Union, and our own systems run in the United Arab Emirates. Where we transfer data out of the Centre we rely on the safeguards permitted by Articles 26 and 27 of the Law, including the data processing terms and standard contractual clauses in our providers' agreements. Ask us and we will tell you which applies to a given provider.
7 · How Long We Keep It

8 · Your Rights
You can ask us to: give you a copy of your data · correct it · delete it · restrict what we do with it · give it to you in a portable form · stop processing you object to · withdraw consent · review anything automated. You can also complain to the Commissioner of Data Protection at DIFC, independently of us, at any time.
We answer within one month. We never treat anyone worse for asking.
9 · Security
Access inside Simi is limited to the people who need it. Devices are encrypted. Identity documents and payment details are kept in restricted storage. If a breach affects you and poses a risk to you, we will tell you and the Commissioner as the Law requires.
11 · Changes
We will post any change here and update the effective date. If a change matters to you, we will tell you directly.
